The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the vehicle decelerated when the acce;erator pedal was engaged and the engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnose that the input speed sensor and transmission control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
