The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the seat belt on the passenger's side failed to latch and unlatch correctly. The seat belt remained locked in the latch position and required several attempts to unlatch. 2 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 10/12/2018

Driver hit a stationary object head on at approximately 50mph and head went through the windshield.

3 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 08/05/2017

Front passenger seatbelt female receiver buckle will not latch the male portion of the seatbelt. This was first noted when my grandson was trying to put on the seatbelt. I was driving on the freeway at the time. The problem continues ever since.

4 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 11/12/2016

The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the pretension cable fractured. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed or repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 15v269000 (seat belt) as a possible resolution to the failure, but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 87,652.

5 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 03/29/2016

Air bag deployed in accident causing damage to face chest leg also seatbelt caused severe bruising to lower abdomen.
