The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the vehicle unintendedly accelerated several times without warning. Each time, the contact had to apply force to the brake pedal, place the vehicle in park, and restart the vehicle. While approaching a light to come to a complete stop, the vehicle surged from a low to a high rate of speed without warning. As a result, the contact's vehicle crashed into the rear of another vehicle. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The dealer (malouf Chevrolet, 1975 us-1, north brunswick township, NJ 08902, (732) 821-1100) and manufacturer were notified. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was not available.
