One problem related to air bag light on has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
At 36,000 mile the air bag light came on, and consumer pulled the fuse and checked for blown fuses. Once he put fuses back the light went off. . Again at 37,000 miles the light came back on and stayed on.
