Two problems related to steering wheel have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 15mph, steering wheel locked up. Vehicle would not turn from left to right, consumer had to stop to unlock steering.
Steering column assembly failed.
