Failure Date: 01/01/2015

14350 unintended ignition key rotation. I have tried 3 separate times, over the past year, to have this taken care of by calling crippen auto, lansing, mi. The first time I did not have the VIN number. Ok. The next three times I was sent to service voice mail. I have left a message each time regarding this recall. Not once has anyone returned my call. Today my husband is physically going down there to try and get a service appointment. I am tired of trying to deal with this dealership.

Failure Date: 10/22/2014

After I contacted the dealer, the appointment was made to repair all recall issues. Received notification that all parts were at the dealership. Once I arrived at the dealer, was told it would be a three hour wait. Drove approx. 100 miles to dealer (bill gatton Chevrolet-Cadillac). One recall issue was resolved, resulting in another appointment to be made when other parts arrived. No precautions were made to ensure vehicle protected against service department injury to vehicle, ie, no paper mats placed in car, dirt inside car, and keys left in the vehicle on the dealer lot. This vehicle has been maintained in a pristine condition, (51,000 actual miles). Has never been driven on salt or under any bad weather conditions. The dealer even commented that the vehicle appeared to be brand new. I would welcome a customer satisfaction survey for this dealership.

12 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 12/03/2012

Vehicle was having starting issues. Would not start without a jump start. We jumped the car with jumper cables, and the engine caught on fire. Immediatley hosed it down to put out the fire, and now there is a hole in the top of the engine. After extensive research, found out a recall back in 09 that was causing this same exact issue. Found several people with the same year make and model vehicle, that this same exact situation happend to, and it was due to the recall. In 2010 stockton Chevrolet replaced sparkplug retainers on a recall issue, which was linked to the same recall. Now trying to fight gm dealer to have vehicle fixed, as it seems to be linked to the recall even though the sparkplug retainers were replaced. Could be a possible product liability issue.
