Turn signals will not always work. Replaced the hazard/signal switch located behind the dash only to have the same problem. Pressing on the dash near the hazard switch or pressing the hazard switch will return signal to normal operation for a short time. While I was replacing the original, I noticed placing a very slight pressure on the switch assembly will cause the signal to either stop or start working. I believe the problem is with both the switch design as well as the dashboard design. Hot/humid weather appears to irritate the situation causing failure more often. Researching the problem via web searches finds many owners with the same problem. This problem also seems to be common to many gm model cars.
When I turn on the blinkers sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. When they don't no light comes on at all ( no blinker on the dashboard or on the outside lights). On numerous occasions my life flashed before my eyes when I was nearly struck by other vehicles while trying to make a turn and my turn signals weren't operating properly. I went to an auto parts store and they stated that the problem was a common one. They stated that it was the flasher assembly (in the steering column) costs $ 299. 00. I feel this issue should be looked into . I am a police officer and if I didn't have this issue with my own vehicle I wouldn't have believed anyone else's story. Please contact me by phone or e-mail thank you rich.
Turn signal switch that includes head lights. You flick you high beams on and when you try and switch to low your head lights go out. You much flick your turn signal repeatedly to get them back on. In the mean time you are swerving all over the road in a panic. How often does it happen almost every day.
