Wiper problem #1

Went out one morning to start my car and let it warm up. Turned the wipers on to clear the windshield, and they went h alfway up and stopped. Shut them off, and the parked in the up position from then on. When traveling down the interstate with them in the up position, they would vibrate excessively due to the wind, and I thought they would be ripped off the glass. Had to have the entire assembly fixed, for $700. This has happened a lot with this model car from what I've seen and read.

Sun Roof problem #2

The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The contact stated that the sun roof connector plugs, which were connected to the motor, melted and produced smoke. Additionally, the interior lights, instrument panel lights, and the lighting for some of the radio components failed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 205,000.
