Electronic Stability Control problem #4

My car is a 2003 Monte Carlo, if I try to use the directional signals they make a buzzing sound and then the brake light and the air bag light comes on along with the battery light, no signal works, the hazard lights work , I replaced the hazard switch but that didnt solve it . Batter is fine and the alternator I had them checked there is no relay for the directionals its all in one . Something is strange going on I also noticed sometimes when your driving the those three lights will start coming on as well . I had put up the windows and they all went on too , sometimes just when driving it or even stopped had this car since it was brand new never had a problem till a few weeks ago.

Electronic Stability Control problem #5

About October 10th, 2017 I was coming up on a traffic light and when I applied the brakes, the pedal would not go down. I was going about 45 mph by the grace of god I was able to blast through an intersection and miss everyone, everything!. Rattled I guess I shut the car off when I regained my composer I started the car and everything was fine. I did not want to believe this happened! I thought I did something wrong maybe had my foot under the brake pedal or something. Have been driving the car since 2 weeks ago was stranded in a parking lot, would not start. Had the car towed home, tried to start it and started right up. Now service track light is on and anti lock brakes is on and service engine light is on sometime and the cruise light is on. Yesterday wife was driving the car and same thing no brakes, you could not push the pedal down it is as if there is something under the pedal it's that solid. My concern for my own safety as well as other Monte Carlo owners is most important. If either time we would have been on a expressway where we could not turn to a shoulder this would be catastrophic . Called the service manager where the car was purchased, also harbor chevy in michigan city, in and gates chevy in south bend, indiana, all said they have never heard of this before. Got on the internet and found similar posts in car complaints without any problem, seems odd gm does not know anything about this. For every ones own safety this should be a redundant system in older cars you would not lose all brakes. Could understand if you lost anti lock part but still could stop. This has to be a overlooked flaw in design and gm should be made to correct this before someone gets killed. If someones been killed by this how could they tell you that he lost his brakes? thank you mike.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

I went to a dealership to deal with a key ignition recall 2 months ago. Now my car is stalling in the middle of the road which never happened before the recall. .

Electronic Stability Control problem #7

Key fob quit working. I use the key to manually unlock car. However, after car is parked and off, the doors lock and unlock themselves. The front and rear lights flash while doors locking and unlocking. The other night, it was flashing morse code for over 24hours. I do not have on star connected. Horn quit working 4 months right before key fob quit. I can't use my bright lights, because I lose dash lights, head lights. My son and I share this car to drive to work. Since the lights started flashing all day and night, I felt it is unsafe for him to drive to work which is 40 miles one way. Why so many issues that are not being taken serious? I drive my car during day time. I pray I make it to work. I have to drive 9 miles one way to work. However, I drive highway 75 with semi trucks going 70 miles an hour. If this car loses power on that highway, I will probably not survive. Unsafe and not reliable vehicle. Chevy should help us Monte Carlo owners get them fixed. Thanks for your time.

Electronic Stability Control problem #8

Takata recall. I spoke to a representative at gm asking about the recall of my vehicle and said my warranty was expired. I just recently bought the car from another person so how I was suppose to know about the cars recall. The problem with the car is the ignition switch whenever I rotate it to turn it on it does not start. I would have to rotate it slowly to the start and as well let it go slowly for it to start. So its not functioning properly. I want to file a complaint to gm for I can get my car fix since it could be caused of my death and the death of other civilians that are near my car whenever it gives up or even worst.

Electronic Stability Control problem #9

Electronic Stability Control problem #11

I went to turn and my service traction control and abs lights came on. While turning, I lost power to the breaks and felt and heard a grinding/whining noise in the brakes and could not stop. The vehicle now has a whining noise when turning without braking at all.

Electronic Stability Control problem #12

This vehicle kept cutting off on me while going 55 mph down the road. I took it to hubert vester Chevrolet and they could find nothing wrong. They replaced the switch at a cost of $388. 98 invoice no 73404c this still did not fix my vehicle. To this day it is still cutting off while going down the road at 55 mph I am scared to drive but could not sell it for this reason.
