Two problems related to starter have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Prizm. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
A malfunction occurred within starter which caused a electrical short circuit to occur ,causing entire electrical system to become inoperable. Please give any further details.
Consumer was traveling about 30mph on highway and heard a grinding noise. Then, vehicle froze up/ nothing would work. Starter burned up everything in the dash.
