One problem related to engine shut off without warning has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Driving at approximately 30 mph, started to make right turn and engine suddenly shut off and just as quickly kick started. Later same day engine shut off in parking lot, but I was able to immediately restart it. The next day engine did the same thing (shut off) but again, I was able to immediately restart it.
