I have a 2001 Chevrolet silverado, and the anti-lock brakes come on almost all the time when I am braking at about 5 mph. There is a recall for this problem, but Chevrolet says my VIN number is not included in the recall. The recall is just for certain states, indiana (where I live) being one of them. Chevrolet does not want to fix the problem because my VIN number is not one that is covered under the recall. I have read several other complaints about the same thing, so there must be some kind of defect. My truck started having the problem at about 99,000 miles.
