Alternator/generator/regulator problems of the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving approximately 50 mph, the security system warning indicator illuminated and the engine stalled. When the contact restarted the engine the headlights and instrument panel lighting became dim. The vehicle was repaired by a certified mechanic with the replacement of the battery.
