Wheel problem #1

The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving various speeds, an abnormal clunking sound emitted from the rear of the vehicle and it vibrated violently. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 07e106000 (wheels). The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the rear hub assembly needed to be replaced the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000.

Wheel problem #2

When brakes are applied at temperatures <32 degrees and pavement is wet or snowcovered, ice build-up stops the brakes from working. I have had too many close calls going through red lights or almost rear-ending other vehicles.
