general problems of the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

My truck is a older model Chevrolet silverado pickup hd the problem is it say engine power reduced. I have had it worked on a few times and keeps reducing if engine power. Can you tell me if there is a recall on this issue or at one point there was a recall? I have had the truck almost 2 years any info would be appreciated. I bought the truck from an individual.

My brake line rusted out causing brake failure and my fuel line rusted out causeing fuel leak. The brakes went out in motion fuel line also.

Brake lines completely rusted thru, had to replace all lines, fuel lines recently leaked and upon inspection are found to be completely rust as well, bad material used in these lines, big safety issue with leaking fuel and inability to stop when brakes go out.

While looking at my truck after getting it back from the shop getting all 4 of the brake lines replaced, I noticed the fuel lines are leaking and extremely corroded. I have always been a chevy lover, and this is my first nice vehicle I have ever owned. Bought used in September of 2014. So far we have noticed that just about every recall from the past was never fixed on our truck, so we had to shell out almost $900 to replace the brake lines front to back. Now the fuel lines, the windshield seems loose, these are all recalls from the past. It doesn't make sense to put a time frame on recalls considering some people may never find out til it's too late, and others may not find out til someone gets hurt.

Yes,I was buying a new trailor when I was going to stop at an intersection,the brake pedal, went to floor,luckly using trailor brakes,I was able to get it stop,notice line broke due to rust,I replaced all brake lines with stainless steel from a company who pre-bend new pieces that should have been installed in this truck,due to cost,now fuel line leaking causing braking down on side of highway,until aaa came but had trailor on that made the situation harder,so after inconvience,have to put new stainless steel fuel lines. Jan. 2014 in northeast illinois I went to apply brakes for a red light and peddle went to the floor. I was fortunate that there was not another vehicle already stopped at the light in front of me, and was not hit as I coasted through the red light. I was able to use the parking brake for stopping while I maneuvered to my home. Upon inspection the next day, I found the brake line that runs along the truck frame and feeds brake fluid to the front brakes had ruptured. I was astound when I saw the condition of the remaining brake lines under the vehicle and the fact that the lines were not made of stainless steel or some other material that would not rust when exposed to the road salt that used heavily during the winter months in northeast illinois. I'm also concern about the fuel lines because their condition is the same as the brake lines and appear to made out of a ferrous material also.

An odor of gasoline was emanating from the vehicle. The servicing dealer diagnosed rusted through fuel lines, all of which had to be replaced.

Brake line rusted out. Started the truck and when I pushed on the pedal it went to the floor. I lived in indiana for 8 years of owning the truck. I have lived in florida for the last two years. All lines from the front of the truck to the abs modulator are rusted. The rear line is ok. The problem is exacerbated by running the lines where they are. The fuel lines appear to have a similar problem but have not yet failed.

My engine has been giving me lean condition codes p0171, p0174 and truck is lacking performance really bad and coolant problems too please message me back.

Sound coming from transmission when push on gas,no power on right side gear light doesn't work I service 4 wd it's tell me to service I start up it's picks which gear (stationary) door on right stop working lost all power.
