The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet silverado. When the vehicle stopped the contact stated the steering wheel became extremely loose. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed a crack on front passenger side frame. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000.
Steering column felt loose - dealership greased it - it appears this will be an every 10,000 miles expense. Dealership refuses to admit the beam shake exists that I have just looked up and says they do not know anything about it. This causes the mirrors to be unusable. Power steering pump is making noises while turning the wheel all the way to one direction. Lifters are clattering all the time while driving the vehicle. There is a clunking noise while making a right turn.
