Excessive oil consumption, burns 2 quarts of oil per 1000 miles. Multiple valve lifters had to be replaced due to damage cause by low oil. Had lifters replaced last summer. Faulty oil monitor design, doesn't indicate oil is low. This happens during normal use of vehicle. Ongoing issue.
Oil engine consumption about every 1200 miles.
The engine in the chevy vehicles from 2007-2015 all have high oil consumption and require engine replacement anywhere after 500 miles. My car was purchased new and needs a new engine a little over 5 years later?.
