Transmission Noise problems of the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Two problems related to transmission noise have been reported for the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. 1 Transmission Noise problem

When slowing for a red light or stop sign there is a noise like bad break pads swooshing as though intermittent contact is being made. Brakes ,pads,hubs ,seals and rotors inspected by cert. Mech. Sound appears to come from under center of undercarriage in vicinity of transmission tail shaft. I have had 3 or 4 incidents when putting truck in gear it jerks backwards enough to feel it. This truck has only 80,000 mi and I love to drive it however these noises make me feel like I might be facing serious trouble and great expense down the road. I have an appt. 2 Transmission Noise problem

2011 Chevrolet silverado. Consumer states transmission clunk and a leaky (water) drivers cabin and expresses discontent in regards to gm the consumer stated the vehicle has been to the dealer 3 times for the transmission noise. The consumer stated gm bought the vehicle back and furnished him with a new vehicle. However, there was no heat in the vehicle. It was discovered the inlet hose was installed upside down during manufacturing. The consumer also stated the new truck also exhibited the same transmission problem. Updated 04/08/11.
