The tires to my 2014 silverado was always slipping on hills so I finally went to the tire store and was told my belts wear coming off. Metal everywhere, I have 52,000 miles on it and the tires are gone already, they had to be very cheap tires.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2016

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with continental crosscontact lx20 tires, size: p275/55r20 111s. The contact stated the tires seemed to vibrate while driving 70 mph. The dealer rotated and replaced the tires; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that the vibration continued with the rear passenger and driver side tires. The vibration occurred at speeds of 20 mph or higher. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16t016000 (tires); however, the manufacturing date indicated in the recall did not match the manufacturing date of the tires on the vehicle, despite having the same model name, tire number, and failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The dot number was unknown. The approximate tire and vehicle failure mileage was 10,000.
