I bought the truck around [xxx] from barkau cdjr, freeport IL. Two hours away from the dealer the truck went completely dead in traffic. A message appeared on the info screen that said roll down the drivers window and back up to reset the system when the truck finally restarted. Got home with it and called the dealer and let the know. In the next few weeks it happened a couple of more times. It was taken to tapper Chevrolet in paw paw, mi to be serviced. The tech thought it was a problem in the fuse block and replaced that, after that on the week end the truck was returned the problem happened 3 times. Took it back to tapper's and they checked it again, had it for 4 days and could not replicate the problem. Kept having issues and took it to 1st choice automotive llc in dowagiac, mi, he went through the wiring and cleaned some grounds and it seemed to work for a while. Now it is doing the same thing again. It just shuts down randomly for no reason. You lose steering, brakes, you have no control when it happens and no warning when it is going to happen. Have searched you tube and have seen many other complaints of the same problem with no solution. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Seal deteriorated on 3rd brake light at top of cab, allowing water inside the light and the vehicle. Concerned about possible wire/electrical short circuit.
I’ve only owned my 2015 chevy Silverado 1500 for 8 months now and I’ve been noticing my paint starting to bubble and I popped one and water came pouring out I have also had to change my left rear turn signal twice my top light socket keeps melting and you can just buy a pig tail you have to get all three light sockets and they are 136. 89 and the sound in the truck don’t also work if the truck sits longer then 5 hours I have no sound and I’ve replaced battery already I also will get a clicking noise from under the steering wheel when the truck turns off it lasts from 1 min to 15 mins and stops thank you.
Unknown when driving vehicle will randomly and often lose power -- the radio and dash lights go out, the steering wheel locks up -- sometimes the vehicle will have to be restarted.
Water filtration from the shark antenna and rear third light, with possible short on a dash board and instrumental panel (already occurred more than once with no light on a instrumental panel and no function of the all gauges including speed gauge) the problem happened especially on rainy days on stationary vehicle and also in a driving conditions bolt city and highway time. The photo showing are only the recent but the problem happened several times before than now. This time was the worst ever.
Driving at low speed lights flicker lose power steering truck stops running steering locks up.

I was at a stop sign trying to make a left hand turn and the truck steering locked up and then it happened again in a drive thru fast food place. I'm scared it's going to cause me to wreck while driving. I have no control of the truck when it happens and my lights, radio, and door locks go out then come back on.
2015 Chevrolet silverado high country low beam headlamp performance is completely unacceptable. They are a projector style headlamp configuration which emits a very focused beam of light that is so narrow from side to side that when stopped at a stop sign you have extremely limited peripheral vision. The beam of light is far enough ahead of the truck and has such a sharp cutoff line, you cannot see if there is anybody standing on the sidewalk waiting to cross. It's also very difficult to see where you can turn from street to street because there again is such a limited field of light projected. Overall the headlamps are very dim. High beam performance is acceptable because both the low and high beams lamps are on at the same time. The high beam lamp is a complex reflector configuration that has been around for decades and works well. It's unfortunate that high beams are used very little because of the other cars and trucks on the road. It's a shame that a pickup with a list price of over $50,000 has such poor headlamps.
The low beam lighting on the Chevrolet 1500 high country projector style headlamps is very poor. Low light output and what light there is in very narrowly focused in front of the truck. Little or no lighting to the sides which makes it very difficult to see when making a turn.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle with the head lights in the on position, the projected light field was too narrow causing a visibility hazard for the driver. The contact indicated that the failure was present while using both the low and high beam lights. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100. The VIN was not available.
My head lights, both hi and low are to deem to drive safely at night, wheather I am on the interstate or in the country side.
I was in an accident driving slow. Couldn't control the steering. Would only go straight. Air bag did not engage and seat belt did not work. Lights go dim and flash. Radio display not working correct. But main concern is inside lights go dim or flash. On city streets driving slow.
