The vehicle was recently repaired at lancaster Chevrolet in lancaster, SC (1616 charlotte hwy, lancaster, SC 29720), and the contact stated that the vehicle would be covered under warranty if the mileage was under 184,700 miles. The contact paid out of pocket to have the cable replaced. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.
