The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed the contact that they were unable to diagnose the vehicle. The contact stated the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The contact became aware of an unknown customer satisfaction program for the failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who informed the contact that he would be responsible for the cost of the repair because the vehicle was out of warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 12,000.
