The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the contact experienced resistance while using the gear shift lever to drive and there was a hesitation while shifting gear. Additionally, while in reverse on several occasions, the back over prevention screen went black and failed to operate as intended. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
Started to notice water marks on the driver and passenger side rear window. According to online forms it is a common problem with 2019 and 2020 silverados with a sliding rear window. The dealer claimed it wasn't a safety issue, which I argued it was due to the mold. Chevy knew about the manufacturing problem before they even sold me the vehicle and did nothing to fix it.
