The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet silverado. The contact stated while driving at approximately 40 mph, the vehicle stalled, the brakes were inoperative, the gear shift was stuck in drive, and all of the doors and windows were locked and inoperative. The check engine warning light was illuminated and the "please restart the engine" message was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump regulator module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
