Brand new 2026 chevy trail boss lt 6. 2l v8. Drove normally for 1291 miles before the engine locked up and vehicle died while driving. Check engine light flashed a few times before it died. Glad I wasnt towing anything yet. Once I coasted to a safe area, the truck would not restart. Dealer said its the engine. No eta as they are not available. Vehicle sitting at the dealer with no eta on parts. This is a 2026 so it is still under powertrain warranty and not under the recall yet.
