Air Brake Disc Rotor Problems of Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal vibration coming from the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to kunes country Chevrolet-Cadillac, inc. (1231 geneva st, delavan, WI 53115) where the contact was informed that there were no defects with the vehicle. The vehicle was returned unrepaired. The failure persisted and the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer and diagnosed with a defective rotor. The contact paid for the repair out of pocket. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

We have a 2002 silverado with only 28,000 miles on it. We took it to the dealer the other day because of a grinding noise and found out that all 4 rotors and all disc pads have to be replaced. We are told that we don't drive the truck enough for the disc pads to work properly. We have never heard of such a thing and started finding others complaning of the same problem. The dealer (century Chevrolet) showed us rotors that were rusy and deteriorating. We live in colorado, rust in unheard of in vehicles here. We do believe that there is a problem with the brake materials.
