Instrument Panel problem #1

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 hd. The contact stated that both the gear selector and odometer indicators would not illuminate on the instrument panel. The failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The technician advised the contact to adjust the brightness on the instrument panel to prevent the failure. The manufacturer was notified and provided no further assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 3,400.

Wiring problem #2

Several of my exhaust manifold bolt heads broke off even though they have never been removed causing hot exhaust to leak out igniting some electrical wiring. My mechanic told me this is a very common problem with gm v8's.

Electrical System problem #3

Tl- the contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle when braking the vehicle the power steering and brakes malfunctioned. The vehicle was inspected by a mechanic and diagnosed as the the hydroboost malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 193,348. Kh.
