One problem related to engine exhaust system has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1999 and up chevy GMC silverado with the 6. 0 liter engine are having problems with the exhaust manifold bolts rusting off. This creates and exhaust leak that is bad for air pollution not to mention with gas in the area a fire hazard. This problem need a recall and many have the problem and don't know it and the ones that do fix it pay a lot of labor cost this is a fairly labor intense job.
