Front Suspension Hub problem #1

Failure of front wheel hubs on 2000 Silverado 2500. Replaced both shortly after purchase of truck about 14 months ago. After about a year both are worn out again. One has extreme play. Completely stock truck. On road use only. About 5000 easy miles on the hubs. Seems that one is close to falling apart. The other is on the way. Suspension problem #2

The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 mph, the front passenger side wheel fractured from the axle. As a result, the contact lost control and crashed into the guard rail. A police report was filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a salvage yard. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 240,000.
