general problems of the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

The contact owns a 1989 c/k 2500 . The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission misfired. The vehicle was driven back to the contact's residence. The contact's husband, replaced the spark plugs and refilled the transmission fluid reservoir. The contact stated the following day, the vehicle was driving sluggish and the gear shifter failed to function as intended. In addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed, however the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact's husband lifted the hood and noticed transmission fluid was leaking out of the transmission fluid hose. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed transmission hose. The contact was informed that the transmission hose needed to be replaced. The contact received manufacturer recall notification n930018. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the recall repair was performed. The contact stated that after the recall repair was completed the failure began. The contact stated that the failure did not began until the recall repair was performed. The contact was informed that the transmission hose needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the transmission hose would be replaced under warranty. The manufacturer was made aware and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 300,000.

Just backed into the st. Clair river to retrieve small boat. Loaded boat. Had enough! replaced all brake lines on truck except the one over rear axel. I still willd o that one also. Abs/brake lights on dash are still illuminated. Still trying to figure out that issue. . Many discussions with other silverado owners, and autoparts employees. This seems to be a very common issue, with very dangarous potential for injurys. .
