The contact crashed into a telephone pole and the brake lights cracked. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and they stated that gm was aware of the rearview mirror failure; however, there was no current remedy. The cost to repair the damages made to the vehicle would be $4,500. The vehicle has not been repaired. The manufacturer stated that someone would call the contact.
