My battery was dead this morning, so I jump started my truck. I let it run stationary for 10 minutes and the battery exploded. It sounded like a bomb went off. It blew the battery into pieces, electronics and the coolant resivoir. It sprayed battery acid, coolant everywhere. My ears were ringing as I was 10 feet from it. It also dented the fender on my truck. I contacted the local chevy dealership and was blown off, was told I would be called back but was not. They said they had no information on problems with those batteries and said they couldn't get a resivoir for 3 days. We are traveling and stopped here in lebanon TN for the weekend. I have many more pictures, but they are too large to add.
