The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 mph, the steering wheel became loose. The contact stated that there was an abnormal amount of slack in the steering wheel. The steering wheel failed to operate as intended. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed and it was determined that the steering bushing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired under the warranty, but the failure recurred three years later. The manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
