In may 2026, my vehicle began exhibiting serious and dangerous problems. It would shake violently after starting and occasionally stop on its own while driving. On [xxx], my wife and I got into the vehicle and started driving from our home in west virginia. While driving uphill at approximately 30 mph, the vehicle suddenly began shaking severely and then came to a complete stop. After a few moments, it restarted itself and accelerated to about 30–40 mph while continuing to shake violently. This happened several times during the trip. Fuel consumption also became extremely abnormal, dropping to approximately 6 miles per gallon. Because team one Chevrolet in oakland, maryland, is the nearest dealer, we drove there for service. After several hours, the dealer returned the vehicle and informed us that they had replaced a sensor. However, after leaving the dealership, the check engine light came on again after only three engine starts. I immediately returned to the dealership, where the warning light was cleared. The following day, the check engine light returned. When I contacted the dealership, I was told to continue driving the vehicle with the warning light on for one to two weeks. After more than a week, I returned to the dealership, and the light was reset again. A few days later, the same problem reappeared. At that point, I was informed that, according to dealership procedures, replacement parts could not be ordered until the issue had been reported three times. After the third visit, the parts were finally ordered, and I was required to wait several more weeks for another service appointment. I also reported the issue directly to Chevrolet. Despite multiple visits, repeated failures, and a significant amount of time spent attempting repairs, my vehicle remains unrepaired. My factory warranty is approaching expiration, and no one has provided a clear answer regarding what will happen if the upcoming repair attempt fails to resolve the problem. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information ac.

This vehicle does not recognize that the gear is on park. Due to the issue, it has left me stranded twice. The first time it was at a very remote area up in the mountains. I was stuck for hours due to battery dying. The second time being a very dangerous situation because it was a very dangerous area late at night.

So the electrical would be when I shut my truck off in park I cannot turn my key completely back to release the key so therefore I’m killing my battery leaving the power on as far as the tires they’re rated for 50 or 55,000 miles I have 37,000 miles and I have no tread left and as far as my drivetrain when accelerating onto a highway pulling my fifth wheel camper that is 16,000 pounds loaded the truck box really bad as far as the crash warning breaking system it does not break.

I took delivery of my 2022 chevy silverado in March, 2022. I still does not have the park assist and emergency stop when backing up installed, which of course is a safety hazzard.
I'm having a severe problems with the extremely large side mirrors causing a blind spot with crossing traffic. I believe I'm a very careful driver to avoid accidents, so a couple days after purchasing the vehicle, I came to an intersection and stopped to make sure there was no crossing traffic before driving through. As I began to go through the intersection, I nearly pulled out in front of a crossing vehicle, a vehicle that was no where in view when I started to go through the intersection. I was thinking to myself where did that vehicle come from? a few days later I nearly did the same thing again, and I realized I wasn't doing anything wrong, that it was that huge side mirror creating such a huge blond spot that when the crossing vehicle is at a certain point the mirror totally blocks the view of that vehicle. I am really worried about having an accident because of this large mirror. I'm considering going back to the dealership to see if the truck can be fitted with a smaller mirror, but there is probably a huge cost to the customer. There must be thousands of people with this truck having the same problem. I don't think that I have ever complained to thenhtsa , but this is very dangerous and I'm worried.
