Consumer states problem with anti- lock braking system the consumer stated when stopping a very low speeds, the anti-lock brakes would engage causing a slipping of the brakes and allowing the vehicle to travel forward another 2-3 feet beyond where it was supposed to stop. The consumer took the vehicle to a local repair shop where they removed and cleaned the abs sensors. The repair shop informed the consumer a recall had been issued for her make, model and year vehicle. The consumer contacted gm and was told there was a recall on his type of vehicle, but her vehicle identification number was not included in the recall.
