The tailgate exhibits erratic behavior and has unlatched unexpectedly without user input. I can support this claim with documented video evidence I took while the vehicle was parked. This condition is consistent with the defect described in general motors safety recall n232426400, which involves water intrusion into the tailgate exterior electronic release switch, potentially causing a short circuit and unintended tailgate opening. Although my vehicle is not included in the recall population based on VIN, it is the same model year, platform, and equipped with the same power-unlatching tailgate system. The failure mode I am experiencing matches the recall description exactly. I brought the vehicle to a dealership for diagnosis. The dealership acknowledged familiarity with this issue and indicated they have observed similar failures on other trucks outside the recall VIN population. However, because my VIN is not included in the recall, I was told the repair would not be covered. General motors offered only minimal goodwill assistance, and I was required to pay for the repair. This condition presents a safety risk, as an unlatched tailgate can allow cargo to exit the vehicle and create a roadway hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. I am submitting this complaint because the defect appears to extend beyond the currently identified VIN population, and I believe additional vehicles may be affected.

The onstart module stopped working, no internet or gps conection is working, also the emergency call system is disabled, onstart systems is disabled due the telematic control module fault. .
