Takata recall; received this recall notice July 2015 and it has been over a year and no fix in sight. I would really like to know what America is coming to. I am starting to believe we are becoming a third world country with gm getting away this type of safety recall and now there should be another recall on the dash now cracking in several places and looking online there are many other's cracking in the same place and falling apart. Would really like to get some satisfaction from a company that we the taxpayers were forced to bailout. . . . . .

Takata recall come on gm. . . My Honda dealship contacted me (and I am the second owner of this car, not sure how they found me) and scheduled an appt, and fixed my airbag. . . This all happened in less than a week and little if any inconvenience to me. Gm get your act together.
Dashboard cracked in two places like many other 2007-2011 gm. Concerned of safety issue if airbags were to deploy. Plastic from dash could injure or possibly pierce airbag rendering it useless.

Dashboard is cracked on both sides near the airbag system. Safety concern should the airbag deploy causing shards of defective dash to act as projectiles injuring the occupants of the vehicle. This is a common problem with gm vehicles from 2007 to 2013. Vehicle was parked when crack was first observed.
