My radio turns off and on, on its own. Also when I have my bluetooth turned on for my phone, it gets stuck after I hang up the phone after a call. I was driving home from work on a state road. My right wheel bearing went out and I had to replace it last year.
Dealer sold me car with bald tires less than 2/32. Dealer sold car with filthy rusty and loose parts on manifold. Valves. Struts. And trans mount. Suspension pieces were broken and old. The thermostat was put in wrong and caused divid in manifold. Battery and electrical system also had issues. All issues were from mile 1 to 200 of owning car.
I have a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic. Every time I've been into the Chevrolet service center to have the oil changed, the Chevrolet service center underinflates my tires. The Chevrolet manufacturer calls for 38 psi in all four tires. The Chevrolet service center sets the psi in all four tires at 35 psi. Now, I'm questioning all oil and lube service centers. Are they also underinflating tires? this happened last about 7 months ago. I've used three different service centers since I"ve owned the car. Service centers in wichita, KS; oklahoma city, ok; gulfport, ms.
The 2018 Sonic is not safe to drive in the snow. It has no traction to start from a stopped position, no traction to stop and no ability to control steering or turning.
The light my engine shows and it always smell labor ke oil.
Takata recall . One tire has already been replaced at the owners expense in February 2019. . It was defective at the time of purchase and taken back to the dealership for replacement before the warranty expired. The other problem was electrical, the driver seat wasn't heating and the infotainment center rear camera was blurring causing a unsafe driving condition. . The dashboard was clicking out for a second while driving on a city street.
On the morning of April 07 2016 my son was driving my wife to work on highway when they heard a loud pop, made his way through traffic to side of road. His 2015 chevy Sonic which we bought for him last August 2015 with about 12,000 miles on it had a blown rear passenger hanook tire. He contact our local dealer about the issue. And was told "you have no warranty coverage in our system", he tried to tell them, but was rudely told "well if your parents had purchased or has a tire warranty we could help you". Well that's a lie gm cover tires under their 3yr/30,000 mile warranty program I have submitted pictures of the tires, which I took earlier this morning when I got home. I want the tire replaced the dealer is not standing by their own warranty program and per my son was not to concerned when he told them the issue nor offered professional service.
All ten (10) airbags failed to deploy when my car was struck by a driver attempting to pass me on the left as I was turning left. That driver was speeding, crossed the double-yellow line to pass, did not have insurance nor a driver's license. My driver's door took the initial impact strike and was deeply creased as the other car continued forward into mine, then the front left wheel was struck; the wheel and a rod connected flew off, my fender was obliterated, engine components were smashed, and my car spun around at least 200 degrees. The other driver was going so fast, it continued forward more than 150 feet before the driver could get his vehicle to stop after striking my car. The insurance company deemed my car a total loss. During the accident, my head violently struck the door frame and I was knocked unconscious. It is a miracle from god that I wasn't killed! my husband is livid to think I could have died. . . And to think that the 10 airbags were a big selling point for us when purchasing the vehicle. We thought we were getting a safe vehicle. We feel lied to and abused as there is nothing that can be done about this--so says an attorney--since I was not seriously injured nor killed. After my insurance company pays, I'll still owe about $4000 on my new-ish chevy Sonic, and I am still required to pay the balance to ally (holding the loan for this gm car) for a product that didn't perform as it should have to keep me safe. How is this not a crime? isn't this robbery? gm should provide some kind of assistance since it advertised untrue statements about the vehicle. If we would have known the car was unsafe, we would not have bought it. There's too little justice in America these days. Gm, if you will make this right, I will place a full page advertisement in my newspaper telling everyone you took responsibility for your fault.
I just noticed there was an airbag recall on my vehicle, I did not get notice of this recall. I was in a recent accident and everyone seem shocked that my airbags did not deploy due to the damages to my car. Additionally, I am having to add air to my tires weekly as soon as I add air then I get another warning that my tires need more air. The sensor did not respond as my onstar services did not get it to respond as the service is set up to do. I have changed climate from a cold(PA) to a warmer (GA) and still have the same problem.
The driver backed out onto the residential street. The drive aligned the wheels to point straight down the street. The driver shifted into drive and pressed pressed the accelerator. The car rapidly accelerated and swerved to the left. It grazed the bumper of a packed car and came to rest on a tree. Upon leaving the front left tire was deflated. The repair shop reported left suspension damage.
