Windshield wipers and stability control and other electrical problems occurred while driving thru the rain.
The windshield wipers stopped operating while driving on a highway in the rain. The car was at highway speed. Extremely dangerous. The mechanic found the wiper motor was defective and pulled too much amperage that it burned internal fuse box relay. Wiper motor and fuse box had to be replaced.

The interior trim on the dash and doors is so shiny it causes reflections in the side mirrors. The reflection is so bad it obstructs your view of the other vehicles on the road behind you. (if you look closely at the uploaded picture you might be able to see the vehicle behind me in the other lane. ).

My front windshield wipers don't work when the windshield gets wet. After the sun dries the car, the wipers work fine. I had to keep stopping on the side of the road wiping off the windshield so I could see where I was going. I also turned on the defroster to help dry the windshield. The automatic daytime running lights only come on at night. I have to manually turn them on during the day.
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Spark. The contact stated that the windshield wipers failed. The windshield wipers failed to engage to clear the windshield as needed. The contact also mentioned that the day time running light also failed to operate as intended. The failures occurred intermittently. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to have a diagnostic performed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 14,044.
I live in florida first of all. It rains like every day. I purchased a 2013 chevy Spark on 10/19/2015 with only 11,053 miles. Now it is 8/14/2017 with only 27,273 miles and the front wiper blades stopped working. I checked all the fuses and even replaced them still does not work. The motor for the wiper blades should last longer than 27,000 miles. Tried to take it to the dealer and they want me to pay 89. 99 just to diagnose the problem it is most likely the motor for the front wiper blades. I should not have to pay for this to be fixed. It is a major safety concern and should not have stopped working this early. I can't even order this part from the parts stores I have to go to the dealer. It is against the law to drive around with no windshield wipers. I was about a mile away from home when the front wipers stopped working.

I was heading east on i40 towards raleigh nc driving the speed limit when the hood of the car came up and hit the windshield. At first I didnt realize what it was. I was able to pull over and thats when I saw that it was the hood of the car. I shut the hood and checked to see if it was latched. It stayed latched so I continued home. There were small pieces of glass everywhere. It happened about an hour into my drive.

2016 Spark vehicles build with convex mirror in the driver side. This give you a false image of vehicles, and when you switch lane vehicles are closer that they appear. Also passenger side mirror don't have the legend: "objects in mirror are closer than they appear".
Traveling at highway speed with heavy mist and active snowfall, the windshield wiper motor overheated and stopped working, creating an emergency situation on the highway where the driver could not see out the windshield. Dealer had to replace motor from damage. New motor again overheated during windshield wiper use at highway speeds in heavy dirty mist from vehicles ahead, creating a second emergency situation where driver could not see. Dealership notified this owner that this model car has mechanism to protect the motor from overheating during heavy use, which causes the wipers to cease. This is dangerous as the motor should not be designed to suddenly stop working at highway speeds; it should be strong enough to handle the load of these common winter conditions.
