Two problems related to engine and engine cooling have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The air conditioner lines on my 1999 chevy Tahoe started to leak and gm has told me throughout the summer that the part needed (part #15010337) is on backorder. This has been a hot summer, and with young children and aging adults, this is not just unaccepatble, but dangerous.
350 cid engine threw rod at 69,000 miles. Replaced with new mr goodwrench engine. New engine stops mysteriously on highway after about 300 miles. Restarts easily before it coasts to a stop. One time it had to sit nearly half an hour before restarting. Dealer cannot fix the problem.
