1 Body problem

Failure Date: 10/05/2013

While coming to a stop in traffic my brake pedal suddenly dropped to the floor. I tried to pump the pedal to gain some sort of pressure and stopping power but the pedal was not responding. Luckily I was already slowed down to a speed that did not cause injury to myself, my passengers or the vehicle that I had hit in the rear bumper. When I exited my vehicle I noticed brake fluid coming from the area were the fender and the door come together and also towards the back of the door were it meets the rear door jam. Under inspection it appears I had 2 failures at the same time. The front brake line failed and so did the rear. The corrosion is horrible and has also consumed the fuel lines. I believe they are the next to go. I don't understand how a company will spend the money to install a stainless exhaust system that will survive almost forever but they will not invest the money on the brake and fuel lines to be made out of stainless steel. I am very fortunate that I was not traveling at a high rate of speed, the outcome would have been much worse for everybody involved.

2 Body problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2005

The fan that cools the motor has no cage, had a kitten crawl into the fan when starting the vehicle. It cut the kitten ,and consumer had difficultly getting the kitten out.
