Consumer states when emergency brake was applied brake cable snapped. Cable was replaced, and 28,000 miles later.
The emergency brake pedal went all the way to the floor. Consumer had the emergency brake cable adjusted twice. After the second failure, the consumer was informed the emergency brake couldn't be adjusted. The dealer gave him the specs from general motors stating that he couldn't park his Tahoe on a hill with over a thirty degree angle. The consumer had purchase chalk blocks to place under the tires when parked on a hill. The consumer wasn't informed of this before purchasing the vehicle.
