Transmission failure. Vhicle became inoperable and required towing to repair facility. Transmission required replacement.
Vehicle was taken to a transmission shop for jerking between 10-20mph. . . I was told that the transmission had internal problems and it was common for the Chevrolet trucks from 1996-2001 I have found well over 50 complaints of transmission failure on the internet in a matter of hours. I feel this is a serious problem that general motors needs to address.
