Cable that operates the rear seat mechanism broke so rear seat cannot be folded down which impedes the ability to access the 3rd row seating. Passengers in 3rd row seat cannot exit the vehicle through this door.
Unable to fold down rear seat due to cable issues.
Access to the third row seating cable lacy failed. If anyone in the third row needed to get out in an emergency they would be trapped most likely. All rear seat cables are broken.
When removing driver-side half of third row seat, die-cast metal hook-and-latch that is intneded to secure seat to the the vehicle snapped/sheared from seat. Concerned that one of the primary compenents apparently intended to secure the seat to the vehicle would snap so easily without excessive force or use.
The middle rear seat fell on the consumer's five year old nephew while the child was getting into the vehicle. The consumer stated the middle rear seat was pulled up when the back of the seat landed on the child.
