My mechanic was putting air in the spare tire underneath the vehicle and the cable broke and the tire fell on him. Luckily, he was not injured badly.
During the recent high temperature weather we had last week, the molding of the rear hatch separated from the window. The hinge that secures the glass to the hatch tore from the molding which is part of the glass. With this tear in the window molding, the window could separate from the vehicle while it's in motion. I would guess that the trim/seal which the hinge is part of becomes too soft during extreme heat, and makes it soft enough to tear when the window is opened and closed. VIN: 1gnek13zx2j246347 gm claims that this is considered "normal wear and tear".
