The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, when the passenger side rear tire blew out with out warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was confirmed that the side wall detached from the tire; causing it to fail. The tire was replaced. The tires were replacement tires. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 198,000 and the tire failure mileage was 4,000. Wh.

While driving the vehicle at 80 mph, without warning the left rear tire blew causing the driver to pull off the road. Manufacturer of the tire has been contacted. Please provide any further details.
Tire blew after being on the road for 2 hours. Swant graber motors (715)537-3247 who replaced the tire said the blowout was due to road hazzard I'm not buy that. They showed me a puncture in the sidewall. How can a puncture occure going down the freeway at 75 mph. On the sidewall? the oppisite sidewall completely discinigraded. Dt.
Traveling south on CA. Highway 99 through macfarland CA. On 11-20-2002 at approx. 2215 hrs the right front tire blewout. We where traveling at approx. 72 mph on straight flat stretch of hwy and were able to keep control of the vehicle. Upon inspection of the tire, I noticed that the sidewall had blown out. The Tahoe was purchase on Aug. 9th of 2002, and only had about 3842 miles. We did not hit anything, the tire just failed.
