Excessive oil consumption. Quart of oil every 1000 miles. The engine, spark plugs, intake manifold, and sensors are all affected.

2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2011

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving at various speeds her v-8 engine should switch to a v-4 whenever she increased her speed to save on gasoline. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who advised her that the vehicle was stuck in v-8 and caused the vehicle to misfire. The 8 lifters, manifold, and all of the gaskets surrounding them were repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
