1 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled with the illumination of the check engine warning light, followed by abnormal acceleration. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel injector needed to be cleaned yet, the remedy failed to repair the problem. The vehicle was taken back to dealer who then replaced the converter but to no avail. The vehicle was then taken to a local repair shop for a second opinion who diagnosed that the torque converter and the transmission were defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was unavailable. The failure mileage was 35,000 and the current mileage was 40,000.
