The air conditioning system fails to cool. My vehicle only has 47,000 miles on it currently and is well-kept. A professional garage inspected and advised that there was a leak in the refrigerant system. I contacted my local Chevrolet dealer jeff gordan Chevrolet where I purchased the vehicle new and they said the issue was not under warranty and that my warranties had expired. They would not repair the air conditioning system at no cost to me, the owner.
I got in my vehicle and turned it on. Once on, it asked me to roll down my passenger side window and roll it back up. I thought that was odd, but did so. My vehicle had completely reset. The clocks were not correct and none of our controls were set. I reset everything, but thought that was weird. A few days later, my husband and son were coming home from a 5-hour trip and as they were turning into our driveway, thank god they were home, the vehicle completely turned off and shut down. The brakes locked up and they came to a complete stop. We lived on a really busy road and this could have been extremely dangerous. My husband quickly turned the vehicle back on and parked in the driveway, but as soon as he parked, it shut completely off again. This is extremely dangerous, because what if they would’ve been on the highway going at a fast rate of speed? I called the dealership where we had bought the vehicle and brought it in, but was unable to keep it there for days due to our schedule. I’ve since had it looked at twice and they haven’t been able to figure out why it did this. However, I turned it on the other day and it sounded like it wouldn’t turn over. I tried it again and it turned on after clicking again, but this time my entire console screen and buttons wouldn’t work and on the dash it read “service anti theft system”. Everything was reset again. We own this vehicle and have spent our hard earned money on it and I’m terrified to drive it because I have kids in the car almost all the time. It’s currently in the shop again and they are going to have it for multiple days to try and figure out why this is happening.
My 2020 Tahoe stabilitrak has gone off approximately 5 times over the past 2 months April and may of 2025 in one incident my vehicle did turn off all incidents were at low speeds less than 5 mph. Four of the incidents the stabilitrak light turned on and an audible beep, I also lost power to my steering and breaks. When I had the oil change the service tec at the dealer stated they can not test it unless the light was on? has anyone reported or experiences this issues what can be done to fix this issue. When I make turns/curves my Tahoe will periodically lock the wheels on the opposite side and pull our vehicle to the other lane of travel. I’ve noticed previous recalls on other Tahoes for the same thing and the delearship claims they can’t replicate the problem and our vehicle is not included in that recall. I have had the vehicle in auto and 2wd and it continues to happen. I can disengage the 2wd to auto and vice versa and it sometimes feels to help the problem. I have also disengaged traction control and that will seem to help as well. This has been happening on and off for over a year.
Rear view camera goes off starts with striped blurry lines then goes to blue screen says “service rear vision system”. Took to dealer battery tests low. They recommend replacing battery, positive and negative cables to the tune of $1000. They aren’t positive this will fix it they say this is what they start with there are several errors codes with that system message. Not covered under extended warranty because they say it’s wear and tear/maintenance. Haven’t had issues with the battery just the rear view camera system. 2020 Tahoe LS 3 yeas old. Battery shouldn’t be bad this soon. Chevrolet needs to recall this rear camera system.
