Other Fuel System problem #1

Engine locked up from crankshaft bearing failure, mega fuse blown my wife and I were driving 70mph on a highway when I lost the throttle and other power. I pulled over to the side the best I could but barely over the white line. It was a dangerous situation for us & tow trucks, the engine was locked up & the flat bed truck couldn't tow vehicle. The 2nd truck was a reaper style truck which was dangerous to setup on the side of highway. The dealership diagnosed and replaced engine to their guidelines. I requested the oil cooling lines & housing be replaced as well to avoid metal debris to enter new engine to avoid recurring engine failure. At first both requests were denied, then another dealer represntive said the oil lines would be replaced but the housing would not be. I even offered to pay for that replacement which was denied. I invested a lot into the vehicle, I was assured the original recall and engine oil change would be sufficient. I also purchased to dealer premium care package to really take care of my vehicle investment. Engine failure was around 29,000 miles. The engine failure happened on a Sunday morning, I didn't receive any loaner car or rental car until Thursday affecting my work transportation. Once the dealer rented me a car, I asked if I needed anything to pick up the car, dealer rep said no. Once at rental car place, I needed a credit card and id, I was charged $250 for the time I had the rental car. The rental car was not close or comparable to my vehicle, which I still had to make payments while it was broken at the dealership. I really worry about my safety, reliability and travel going forward with this vehicle. I also am very concerned about the vehicle losing value due to known issues. There was no warning signs until the failure, I believe the dash message said 'please press start' or 'press start'. Overall this has been a tough and stressful situation with my expensive vehicle investment. Vehicle unavailable- 7/26-8/17.

Other Fuel System problem #2

My vehicle started having stuttering/shifting issues back in August 2025, I was advised the vehicle did not need new engine but upgraded oil. I continued to have the issues and have continued to bring back to dealer for constant software updates - cannot duplicate issue meanwhile the stop sale order was issued and I was not advised. The vehicle then experienced very hard jerking- stall- that lead to the dealership putting an awd in 2wd calling it a fix! just got vehicle back again after a complete stall at a stop sign- causing vehicle to roll back and cut back on! dealer stated the vehicle showed the stall/shutter but could not duplicate on road test. This is a serious safety issue!!.

Other Fuel System problem #3

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, I experienced engine failure on my 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe 6. 2l v8. This was a very dangerous situation, and could of been potentially dangerous to others around me on the highway. There was no warning just complete loss of engine propulsion at highway speeds. It was towed to the dealership on this same date. On Monday, April 27, 2026, it was confirmed by the Chevrolet dealership that this vehicle suffered catastrophic engine failure and that the engine was seized up. Inspection would be available upon request.

Other Fuel System problem #4

Picoscope test passed on 2/3/2026 with mileage of 58061 at everett Chevrolet, benton, ar. On [xxx], while driving received an error code, no oil pressure and vehicle became disabled in the middle of the road. Tahoe was towed to teeter Chevrolet in malvern, ar. We were notified on Friday that the engine was bad and would need to be replaced. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Other Fuel System problem #5

Low oil life notification on phone. Since l87 recall, an oil consumption test was stopped and the new type of oil has been added to the vehicle 5k miles ago. Had to add a full quart to register on dip stick. Will now start another oil consumption test with a dealership. I am very concerned about my families safety.

Other Fuel System problem #6

Fuel system control module went out abruptly and without warning resulting in the vehicle and occupant being stranded on highway. This was a brand new vehicle with only 320 miles on the odometer, and happened after only 6 days of ownership. The dangerous nature of above situation is self evident. Unexpected loss of power while in traffic is dangerous. Dealership replaced the module and confirmed it was the cause of the breakdown. No warning, no change in audible sound, or anything else prior to vehicle shutting down suddenly. The selling dealership replaced the module and confirmed.

Other Fuel System problem #7

Check engine light turned on last week after pumping gas. After driving a certain amount of miles it turned off. I pumped gas yesterday and I’ve driven miles and it still shows it has a full tank but my Chevrolet app shows it has 85% fuel.
